Set location to “Always”: in Cozyo, MORE → “Berechtigungen” (permissions) → “Standort” opens your settings. Choose “Always” on iPhone, “Allow all the time” on Android.

On iPhone, don't swipe Cozyo away in the app switcher. iOS then stops passing on your location until you open the app again.

Battery saving can slow things down too: Low Power Mode on iPhone; on Android, Settings → Apps → Cozyo → Battery → “Unrestricted”.

When you stay in one place for a while, Cozyo checks in less often and MORE shows “Ruht” (resting). That's normal.

A code has 8 characters, like ABCD-EFGH. It works for seven days and for one person; once someone has joined with it, or a new code has been made, it stops working. Ask for a new one: MORE → “Kreis” → “Bearbeiten” → “Neuen Code erzeugen”.

After ten wrong tries, Cozyo takes an hour's break. Please wait, then try again.

First save a copy of your data: MORE → “Export my data” (“Meine Daten exportieren”). Deleting can't be undone.

Then MORE → “Delete account” (“Konto löschen”). These are deleted immediately and permanently: your profile and profile picture, your location and its history, arrivals, snips with their reactions and replies, winks, the devices registered for notifications, your circle memberships, everything in circles where you were the only member, and the meetups you created.

What you created in a circle that still has other members stays there for them and passes to another member: shared places, trips with all their photos and Together ideas. That way the others keep their shared plans. If you want to take such content with you, export it first or delete it yourself.

Under MORE → “Berechtigungen”, “Benachrichtigungen” (notifications) should say “Erlaubt” (allowed). Then tap “Dieses Gerät anmelden” (register this device) right below until it says “Aktiv”.

On Android, also set Settings → Apps → Cozyo → Battery → “Unrestricted”, otherwise notifications can arrive late.

Block them: tap their picture on the map → “Blockieren”, or MORE → “Kreis” → “Bearbeiten” → “…” next to their name → “Blockieren”. You no longer see each other in any circle you share, and they aren't told.

If you created the circle, remove them there with the red minus → “Entfernen”. Otherwise you can leave: “Kreis verlassen”. And please report them: “…” → “Melden”, or write to us.
